Q & A

Question: What services does Xanadu Technologies provide?

Answer: Xanadu delivers enterprise architecture, cloud modernization, systems integration, API development, analytics, and consulting across healthcare, finance, education, and public-sector organizations. Our services include hybrid-cloud architecture design, integration-layer implementation, cloud migration, and ongoing advisory and support.

Question: How does Xanadu ensure the privacy and security of client information?

Answer: We apply strict privacy, confidentiality, and security practices as outlined in our Privacy Policy, MSA, and SOWs. Data is protected through secure access controls, encryption, and role-based permissions. We never store or process personal data beyond what is required to fulfill contracted services.

Question: What kind of data does Xanadu collect or process during a consulting engagement?

Answer: We collect only the information needed to perform services—typically technical, business, and architectural documentation. If personal or production data is involved, its handling is governed by the SOW and any necessary DPAs. End-user personal data is not required unless explicitly authorized.

Question: How are deliverables and project scope defined?

Answer: Deliverables, timelines, and responsibilities are documented in the SOW for the engagement. Any adjustments must follow a formal change-management process and require written approval.

Question: How does Xanadu manage support and incident response?

Answer: Support levels, response targets, and escalation procedures are determined by the Client’s SOW or Support Retainer Agreement. If not defined, support is provided on a commercially reasonable efforts basis during standard business hours.

Question: What happens if a critical issue occurs?

Answer: Critical issues are handled using severity levels and response times defined in the Client’s contracts. Xanadu responds rapidly and works continuously until the issue is stabilized, following contracted procedures.

Question: Does Xanadu offer 24/7 support?

Answer: Yes. 24/7 support is available by subscription or as a separate Support Retainer Agreement. Otherwise, standard support hours apply.

Question: Who is responsible for data backups and disaster recovery?

Answer: Unless defined in the SOW, the Client is responsible for system backups and DR procedures. Xanadu may assist with design or restoration tasks if included in the contract.

Question: Does Xanadu work with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure?

Answer: Yes. We integrate and deploy solutions on AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud, IBM Cloud, MuleSoft, and other third-party platforms. These providers operate under their own terms, and Xanadu is not liable for platform outages or performance issues.

Question: Who owns the intellectual property of the deliverables?

Answer: Client-specific deliverables become the Client’s property once fully paid. Xanadu retains ownership of pre-existing tools, methodologies, frameworks, and reusable technical components.

Question: Can Xanadu help with compliance requirements such as PIPEDA or GDPR?

Answer: Yes. Xanadu assists with cloud security, architecture governance, privacy regulations, and compliance frameworks. The scope of compliance support is defined in the SOW.

Question: What are the payment terms for consulting engagements?

Answer: Payment terms—including invoicing frequency, rates, and expense handling—are specified in the Client’s MSA or SOW. Standard terms are typically net-30 unless otherwise agreed.

Question: How does Xanadu ensure confidentiality?

Answer: Confidentiality is governed by the MSA or NDA. Xanadu protects all client information through strict internal security practices and never discloses information to third parties without contractual or legal authorization.

Question: Can project requirements be modified after work begins?

Answer: Yes. Changes must follow the formal change-management process outlined in the SOW and may affect cost, timeline, or resource allocation.

Question: What does the Client need to provide at the start of a project?

Answer: Clients must supply access to systems, documentation, SMEs, and any required project materials. Responsibilities are usually detailed in the SOW.
